Dear friends and family,

I’m reaching out to you as this Spring, I’m proud to be participating as a Shoe Guy for the Baptist Health Foundation’s Wine Women and Shoes event on April 18 at The Club. This is the foundation’s 7th annual event and Wine Women & Shoes has become an elite event in the Birmingham community “pairing” women together around fine wine, great shopping, incredible auctions, and a cause that matters to the Baptist Health Foundation.

As a Shoe Guy, I’m volunteering my time to help host, welcome, assist, and engaged with these amazing women during the event. I am also doing my part to raise awareness and donations for the Baptist Health Foundation, and I hope that you will help me reach my fundraising goal of $1,000. All donations are appreciated and 100% of the funds I raise go directly to the patients, families and employees supported by the Baptist Health Foundation.

For over 54 years, this faith-based foundation has provided charitable resources to improve healthcare, provide social assistance, and promote education and wellness in our community. When you “pair” with BHF, you join their compassionate healing ministry dedicated to filling a gap in Birmingham’s medical community and supporting hospitals such as Brookwood Baptist, Princeton Baptist and Shelby Baptist to name a few.

BHF meets the needs of financially vulnerable patients, families, and our community through medical services, follow up care, transportation, and pastoral care … and I hope you will help me meet my fundraising goal.
