To my Family, Friends and Associates,

This year, I am participating in the Baptist Health Foundation's 6th Annual Wine Women & Shoes Fundraiser. I will be volunteering as a Shoe Guy, which is a fancy title for Server to 400+ women who are gathering to raise money for the Baptist Health Foundation while wine tasting, shopping, dining and bidding on various auction items. Along with myself, three other guys from my office will be there as Shoe Guys and several ladies from our office will be attending the festivities. This is just one small way we can support the Baptist Health Foundation. In fact, our office in Birmingham has been working with Baptist Health for 50 years, designing their hospitals and clinics, so they can provide mission-based healthcare throughout our surrounding communities. That's why I feel so confident supporting this great cause. I would probably come up short trying to explain all the wonderful work they do for patients and their families, so I've included the link below for you to read about their mission and purpose in serving others. 100% of the funds they raise goes towards their mission-specific work. Since 1967, the Baptist Health Foundation has provided resources to improve healthcare and wellness to patients and families in the Birmingham community. The mission of the Baptist Health Foundation is to further the healing ministry of Jesus Christ by serving as a bridge to Baptist Health System’s affiliated hospitals’ uninsured patients, funding pastoral care in its hospitals, assisting employees in need, providing educational opportunities for medical professionals, and contributing to the betterment of our communities.

This is the foundation's 6th Annual Wine Women & Shoes! We are excited that it has become an elite event in the Birmingham community “pairing” women together around fine wine, great shopping, and incredible auctions.

I am participating as a Shoe Guy for the event and am happy to be volunteering my time to host, welcome, assist, and engage with over 400 women of the surrounding community. This amazing event helps raise money and bring awareness to the various programs of Baptist Health Foundation.
