I have been practicing Emergency Medicine at Princeton Baptist Medical Center for over 20 years. I am the past Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine, and current Chief of Staff. I have been a Shoe Guy since the Baptist Health Foundations inagural event. 

This fun event is an excellent way to raise funds for the wonderful work of the Baptist Health Foundation.


Since 1967, the Baptist Health Foundation has provided resources to improve healthcare and wellness to patients and families in the Birmingham community. The mission of the Baptist Health Foundation is to further the healing ministry of Jesus Christ by serving as a bridge to Baptist Health System’s affiliated hospitals’ uninsured patients, funding pastoral care in its hospitals, assisting employees in need, providing educational opportunities for medical professionals, and contributing to the betterment of our communities.

This is the foundation's 6th Annual Wine Women & Shoes! We are excited that it has become an elite event in the Birmingham community “pairing” women together around fine wine, great shopping, and incredible auctions.

I am participating as a Shoe Guy for the event and am happy to be volunteering my time to host, welcome, assist, and engage with over 400 women of the surrounding community. This amazing event helps raise money and bring awareness to the various programs of Baptist Health Foundation.
