Over the next month, I'm supporting the Baptist Health Foundation as a Shoe Guy at their annual "Wine Women and Shoes" fundraiser, to be held September 21, 2021 at the Birmingham Zoo. We Shoe Guys are doing our part to raise funds for the Foundation to support their many programs and I am asking for your help to get me to my $1,000 fundraising goal.
For over 50 years, Baptist Health Foundation has been the charitable fundraising entity of Baptist Health System existing to advance Baptist Health System’s charitable mission and to enhance relationships with communities served by Brookwood Baptist Health. When you support BHF, you support their compassionate healing ministry dedicated to filling a gap in Birmingham’s medical community. BHF is dedicated to meeting the needs of financially vulnerable patients, families, and our community through direct medical services, follow up care, transportation, and pastoral care.
Would you be willing to give $20, $50, $100 or even more. I have been part of helping the Baptist Health Foundation for more that 27 years and can tell you they do great things.
On a side note, if I go beyond my goal, I could get named "The King of Soul" at this event.
